I also replaced the Bowden gear with a hardened steel version as well so I can reach higher temps for nylon, polycarbonate and carbon fiber... I also replaced the Bowden gear with a hardened steel version as well so I can reach higher temps for nylon, polycarbonate and carbon fiber... Pretty much most of the old settings are the same. you may need to adjust the temp a bit but that's it. retraction of 5 is way too much. i'm surprised you haven't jammed up real good yet. with the Microswiss you can use a max retraction value of 2. you may also need to use a negative restart distance so that after the retraction when it starts.

When you use this hotend you will have to lower the RD (retraction distance) to approximately 3.5 to 4 mm or so. At the same time, you will also have to lower total speeds to 45 mm per second.
